Southeast Corridor: Light Rail Speed Restrictions
In early June, RTD implemented two slowdown zones in isolated sections of the Southeast Corridor. The 10 mile-per-hour speed restrictions have resulted in additional travel time for customer trips on the E, H, and R lines between the impacted stations. Learn More

Section of N Line Supported by Bus Shuttles Saturday, June 29
RTD is conducting a joint emergency exercise with local emergency services on Saturday, June 29, from 6 a.m. - 10 a.m.
During this time, bus shuttles will replace trains between 48th & Brighton•National Western Center and Commerce City•72nd.
Trains will operate every 60 minutes between Union Station and 48th & Brighton•National Western Center.
- Northbound trains depart DUS 56 minutes past the hour.
- Southbound trains depart 48th & Brighton•National Western Center 34 minutes past the hour.
Trains will operate on regular schedule between Commerce City•72nd and Eastlake•124th.
Affected customers are encouraged to explore Bus Route 48 as an alternative travel option.
Regular service will return to the N Line upon conclusion of drill.
Free MallRide Shuttles Operating on 15th and 17th Streets
Free MallRide shuttles are currently operating on 15th and 17th Streets while construction on the 16th Street Mall takes place.
Free MetroRide returned to service May 26 and is operating between Union Station and Civic Center Station on 18th and 19th streets, with 10-minute frequency from 5:45 a.m. to 7:00 p.m to support downtown service during the Downtown Rail Reconstruction Project.
